Through the Terrains with Jesus | 026
There we were once again, doing the whole process over once again starting at 7:30 am. Our littles were beside us, one observing and the other asking millions of questions to the nurse.
“Why, you have some great questions to ask Elizabeth and you are correct on what each one means. Very bright and smart girl!”
My heart melted as our little Elizabeth tended to mama, yet would ask questions that would run through my mind yet I stayed silent still as what we were facing.
Nurse walks out and suddenly there is a knock at the door and the surgeon and dr come in asking to meet us down the hallway in the conference room, once again.
Nerves are kicking in, heart is pounding, blood racing through my veins like you wouldn’t believe, it was a little intense. Til this came to mind, “he is in control.”
He is indeed in control and sovereign over all. He never left us once, nor will He ever!
My husband and I sat in that conference room as our daughters colored on coloring pages they printed out for them to help distract them as they discussed options.
“Clearly things are stable and that is good. So I see it as 2 options.”
Me thinking in my brain, “why does it always seem to be 2 options??”
“We could go this route and go through with the procedure, only because you have made quite a drive to come to this appointment, or we could wait it out and hope it self resolves. Now I know its alot to take in, we want what is best for you.”
My husband and I looked at each other and said, “well we go with option 2 because we believe it will be gone.”
How quick of faith that is. To immediately place that faith in our ever knowing Jesus, the one who heals all disease and sickness. The one who comes to the rescue where rescue is needed. Jesus. Oh the sweet name of Jesus.
How easily it is, yet how difficult it could be when we are trained to be self-reliant, independent, never to rely on anyone or anything but yourself.
It was a training tool the Lord was teaching me in this time to stop relying on what I thought was best and instead WAIT, PRAY, WORSHIP, and even GATHER with other believers who will STAND for us in this time.
Has the Lord placed you in a new place that you are unsure of and can’t yet see clarity? Where is your faith placed in dear friend?
Pray. Be patient in this process. He will show up. And when He shows up, it is mighty and well worth the patience, praying, worshipping, and waiting dear friend!
