She Walks His Way

No amount of trial, test, walk, or battle we face will shut us down, but rather, it equips us to becoming who God has created and ordained us to be. And that is to become more like Christ.
Nicole Longoria, Founder of She Walks His Way

Hi friends, I’m Nicole!

about me

I’m a wife and mama to our 5 daughters and our twin miracle boys. I love being a friend and am deeply passionate of pursuing jesus in every season and walk in life.

In the 10+ years of being a homemaker, the Lord has taught me a lot along the way. Every written piece shared on here is from both my own personal experiences and journeys the Lord has led me through along with my bible readings and revelation I receive from it. You will see me tending to my home, chickens, garden, or even homeschooling my kids while also sharing the Gospel in truth, never a watered down way.

lets be friends

though I have been taking a break from social media, instagram is my favorite space to connect! @lifewiththismom

let’s be real..

my life was portrayed to be easy at the beginning. but Deep inside i was hiding and shouting in desperate need of my lord and savior.

As I became more real, honest and vulnerable with the Lord, fruit began to bear and my walks began to deepen, even challenge, in the Lord. We experienced emotional and mental hardships in 2014-2015 with my husbands diagnosis. In that, we learned to take it all to the Lord and navigate it with the Lord.

2022 came

And we experienced our twin miracle boys birth. They were a promise from the Lord, a Word and promise I had to stand firm on while others looked at me as they looked at Noah back in the days while building an ark. I stood firm in that position, then here they came. Born at 27 weeks enduring a long NICU stay of 105 and 115 days. During the pregnancy and NICU stay we felt the Lords hand sustaining us.

Obstacles and words continued to rise, while others were saying they may not make, one stating to get ready to say our goodbye, here I was standing firm in the Lords promise. And here they are today, proving wrong of their opinions and God showing who sits on the throne.

2023 came….

with 3 helicopter rides and 1 ambulance ride all to Forth Worth TX we endured the PICU. Testings, diagnosis, all the unknowns was unclear, yet the Lords sustaining hand was there upon us each step of the way.

I truly believe, from all what the Lord spoke to my own heart and through His Word, He allowed such things to occur for us to experience more of who He is and what He is capable of doing.
In both the pregnancy, NICU and PICU I learned boldness, remaining anchored in Gods Truth despite the odds and diagnosis we face, authority, authenticity, and advocating.

While I am far from perfect, far from where I want to be, I am truly thankful for where I am now and what the Lord has been teaching me. Everything I write here at She Walks His Way is honest, real, vulnerable truth. I share bits and pieces of what the Lord shares with me while also sharing more of His Word and what He has taught me in it. Never to boast of what I know, because in all honesty, I don’t claim to know it all. I only know what the Lord has led me through and taught me. I never share watered down gospel, only the real honest truth of the gospel.

I want to tell you this friend of what I do know…

God is who He says He is.

No unknowns to us is unknown to God.

Nothing is out of his hands.

No medical diagnosis can stop God from using you and shining His glory through you.

Nothing we go through, no trial no hardship no testing is for nothing nor wasted. It all is always to make us more like Him, expanding His Kingdom, making His name known upon the earth. It instills in us faith, endurance, perseverance, deeper joy and strength that we never could have without the Lord.

Our trust, our relationship deepens and widens as we trust and lean into our Lord in these trialing times.

What God says He will do, He will do.

why the name?

She walks his way was not my plan, but the Lords.

What was formerly known as Knitted with Grace, the Lord said it needed to be renamed. I did not understand until one day I was putting gas in my vehicle and there I heard, She Walks His Way. It still made no sense until we endured life’s hardships. Though we experienced the Lord in it all, He showed us, showed me, I can be the woman who walks in His ways in everything I face carrying His strength, presence, and peace as I pursue Him through it all .

I want to encourage women to walk in Christ’s ways by living intentionally for Him. A She Walks His Way woman abides in Christ daily, she seeks to place Him first, which then bears the fruit of Christ. It’s never in her performance or striving, but rather in grace and a relationship built within her Savior as she pursues Him daily. One who is established in the Lord can get through life’s hardships and seasons in life as she is anchored deeply in her Savior.

“Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him,” Colossians 2:6

Everyday we abide in Christ, we become the woman who walks in His ways by walking in grace, in truth, in light, in love, in all of Christ’s character. And each day that we allow the Holy Spirit to work in us, change us, transform us, we become more and more like Christ.

We believe in God the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus came to be the ultimate sacrifice so that we may have life. We believe Jesus is the only one who can fill the very dry places in our lives with the Spring of water, the thirst that our soul craves, and the love we so desperately want and need.

Here at SWHW we help encourage women to walk in His ways, being led in grace, through Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Our mission is to help women know what it means and looks like to walk in grace, walk in truth, walk in light, walk in freedom, walk in love, walk in forgiveness, walk in Christ authority, walk in Christ character all by the power of the Holy Spirit.

OUR STATEMENT

Learn the Word, Love the Word and Live the Word. We are women who are students of the Word, learning the Word by being with Him daily, Loving the Word the more and more we come to Him, and Living out the Word by putting it to practice each day of our life which then, we become a She Walks His Way woman!
